Implementation of Operating Systems (Praktikum)

Implementation of Operating Systems (Praktikum)

The goal of this practical course is the implementation of a simple operating system. For this purpose, we will explore various aspects relevant to operating systems and their implementation (e.g., processes, scheduling, paging, system calls, file systems) through practical assignments. In the second half of the semester, each participant will choose a sub-aspect in consultation with the instructor and improve its implementation or extend the operating system with this aspect.
