Parallel, Concurrent, and Distributed Programming

Parallel, Concurrent, and Distributed Programming

This course teaches practical programming concepts for parallel, concurrent, and distributed systems. Programming such systems differs fundamentally from programming sequential ones, and each requires mastering its own set of techniques. Over the course of the semester, we will explore these techniques through a variety of concrete programming languages and technologies. Successful completion of Praktische Informatik 1, 2, and 3 is strongly recommended.

This course has a final exam.
